Abstract

Farmer's Exchange Rate Index (NTP) is the ratio of the price index received by farmers (It) to the index of price paid by farmers (Ib).

NTP is one indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the terms of trade (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed as well as for production costs.

The Bali Province NTP Index in February 2022 was 94.33, down 0.30 percent compared to the previous month. The decrease in the NTP index was due to the Price Received by Farmers Index (It) which fell as deep as 0.61 percent, deeper than the 0.31 percent decline in the Index Paid by Farmers (Ib).

Nationally, the NTP index was recorded at 108.83, up 0.15 percent compared to the previous month. In February 2022, the Riau Province's NTP Index recorded the highest increase, which was 2.50 percent. In contrast, the province with the deepest decline in the FTT index occurred in North Sumatra, with a decline of 0.72 percent.

Judging from the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) of the Province of Bali, in February 2022 there was a decrease of 0.51 percent.

The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) for the Province of Bali in February 2022 was 93.56, down 0.82 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
