Abstract

The NTP index of Bali Province in April 2021 was recorded at 92.12, up 0.72 percent compared to March 2021 which was recorded at 91.46. The index received by farmers (It) was recorded to have increased by 0.86 percent, which was higher than the increase in the index paid by farmers (Ib), which was 0.13 percent.


The increase in the NTP index in April 2021 was recorded in almost all sub-sectors, except for the food crops sub-sector, which fell by 2.75 percent. The sub-sector that rose the most, was the horticulture sub-sector by 2.67 percent, followed by the smallholder plantation sub-sector (2.28 percent), the fisheries sub-sector (2.15 percent) and the livestock sub-sector (2.11 percent).


The Agricultural Business Exchange Rate Index (NTUP) of Bali Province in April 2021 rose as high as 0.58 percent from 92.48 in the previous month to 93.02.


In terms of the sub-sector, the NTUP Index in April 2021 rose in all sub-sectors except for the food crops sub-sector, which was recorded to have decreased by 3.06 percent. The highest increase in NTUP was recorded in the horticulture sub-sector by 2.79 percent, followed by the smallholder plantation sub-sector (2.45 percent), fisheries sub-sector (2.04 percent) and livestock sub-sector (1.78 percent).


In April 2021, Bali Province recorded rural inflation of 0.03 percent. This condition is in line with the national rural inflation record of 0.27 percent inflation. The highest national inflation was recorded in Gorontalo Province at 1.03 percent and the lowest was in West Papua Province at 0.01 percent. Meanwhile, the deepest deflation was recorded in South Kalimantan Province at 0.21 percent and the lowest was recorded in East Kalimantan at 0.05 percent.
