Abstract

The NTP index of Bali Province in February 2021 was recorded to have decreased from 93.09 in January 2021 to 92.46, or decreased as deep as 0.67 percent. The index received by farmers (It) was recorded to have decreased 0.80 percent, while the index paid by farmers (Ib) fell more shallow, namely 0.13 percent.


The decline in the NTP index in February 2021 was recorded in three sub-sectors, namely the horticulture sub-sector, down 2.95 percent, followed by the food crops sub-sector by 1.51 percent, and the livestock sub-sector down 0.69 percent. Meanwhile, the NTP of the smallholder estate crops subsector and the fisheries sub-sector were recorded to have increased by 2.46 percent and 0.10 percent respectively.


The Agricultural Business Exchange Rate Index (NTUP) of Bali Province in February 2021 was recorded at 92.71, down by 0.84 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 93.49.


In terms of the sub-sector, the NTUP Index in February 2021 was recorded to have decreased in three sub-sectors, namely the horticulture sub-sector (down 3.05 percent), the food crops sub-sector (down 1.74 percent), and the livestock sub-sector (down 0.65 percent). Meanwhile, the increase in NTUP was recorded in the smallholder estate crops subsector and fisheries sub-sector at 2.03 percent and 0.03 percent, respectively.


In February 2021, Bali Province recorded rural deflation of 0.44 percent. This condition is in a different direction from the national rural inflation record which recorded an inflation of 0.17 percent. Of all observed provinces, the highest rural inflation was recorded in Province D.I. Yogyakarta (0.69 percent) and the lowest in Papua (0.01 percent). On the other hand, the deepest deflation was recorded in the Riau Islands Province (0.62 percent) while the lowest deflation was recorded in the Province of East Nusa Tenggara (0.04 percent).
