Results of the 2020 Population Census of Bali Province

SP2020 noted that the population of Bali Province in September 2020 was 4.32 million people. Compared to the results of the previous census, the population of Bali Province continues to increase. In a period of ten years since 2010, the population of Bali has increased by about 426.65 thousand people or an average of 42.66 thousand every year.


With a land area of ​​the Province of Bali of 5,780.06 square kilometers, the population density of Bali is 747 people per square kilometer. This figure has increased from the SP2000 results which recorded the population density of Bali as much as 544 people per square kilometer and the SP2010 results which reached 673 people per square kilometer.


In the last ten years (2010-2020), the average population growth rate of Bali is 1.01 percent per year. There was a decrease in the population growth rate of 1.13 points when compared to the 2000-2010 period of 2.14 percent per year.
