Abstract
January 2020, the export value of Bali Province's goods abroad was recorded at US $ 46,595,578 higher than the export in December 2019 (m-t-m) which amounted to US $ 45,859,480. On a year-to-year basis, Bali's exports in January 2020 recorded a decline of -6.92 percent when compared to January 2019. Bali's foreign trade balance with January 2020 recorded a surplus of US $ 23,447,921.
Exports to Spain recorded the highest increase of up to hundreds of percent when compared to December 2019 (m-t-m), which was dominantly contributed to the increase in exports of non-knit apparel products (HS 62). But in terms of commodities, exports of patchwork products (HS 63) recorded the highest increase, mainly exported to Norway.
The value of imported Balinese goods from abroad in January 2020 was recorded at US $ 23,147,657, down as deep as -1.92 percent compared to December 2019 (m-t-m) which recorded at US $ 23,601,143. On a year-on-year basis, Bali's imports in January 2020 rose as high as 6.08 percent compared to January 2019 (y-o-y).
Imports from Thailand (m-t-m) recorded the deepest decline of -40.78 percent, which was mainly due to a fall in jewelery / gem product imports.
