Abstract

In September 2019, international air transport planes departing from I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport were recorded to decrease as deep as -4.33 percent. Compared to the previous month (m to m), the ten main destination countries included Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, China, Thailand, Hong Kong, Qatar, Philippines, South Korea, United Arab Emirates experienced a decline, with the deepest declines recorded in Philippine destinations as deep - 11.34 percent. Conditions of departure for the number of passengers on international flights were also recorded to decrease as deep as 7.16 percent (m to m), from 673,831 people in August 2019 to 625,606 people in September 2019. The deepest decline in international passenger departures was recorded in Hong Kong destinations which declined as deep as -16 , 61 percent.

 

The ten main destinations for departure of domestic air transport from I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport in September 2019 include Jkt / Soekarno-Hatta (1,337 units), Surabaya (420 units), Lombok Praya (264 units), Labuhan Bajo (198 units), Jogyakarta (196 units), Ujung Pandang (118 units), Solo (91 units), Bima (86 units), Jkt / Halim Pk (85 units), Semarang (70 units), and other destinations totaling 577 units. The departure of domestic air transport planes from I Gusti Ngurah Rai Airport in September 2019 was also recorded to decrease as deep as -6.80 percent compared to August 2019. There were nine main destination destinations for domestic passenger departures, with the deepest decrease recorded in Semarang as deep as -21, 61 percent. When compared to September 2018 (yo y), the number of domestic air transport passengers was also recorded to have decreased as deep as -8.41 percent, with the deepest decrease recorded in Bima destinations as deep as -34.48 percent.
