Abstract
The number of working-age
population in Bali Province in February 2019 was 3,311,971 people. Of the
working age population, 2,539,578 people were recorded as the workforce and
772,393 people were recorded as not the workforce.
The population recorded as the
labor force in February 2019 decreased by 67,710 people (-2.60 percent)
compared to February 2018. When compared with August 2018, the total workforce
increased by 14,223 people (0.56 percent).
The Labor Force Participation
Rate (TPAK) in February 2019 was recorded at 76.68 percent, down -3.15 points
compared to February 2018 which was recorded at 79.83 percent. When compared
with the August 2018 LFPR which was recorded at 76.78 percent, TPAK fell by
-0.10 points.
The number of people working in
Bali in February 2019 was 2,509,316 people, a decrease of 75,627 people (-2.93
percent) compared to February 2018. When compared with August 2018, the number
of working people increased by 18,446 people (0.74 percent )
The Open Unemployment Rate (TPT) in Bali Province in February 2019 was recorded at 1.19 percent, an increase of 0.33 points compared to the February 2018 TPT which was recorded at 0.86 percent. When compared with the August 2018 TPT which was recorded at 1.37 percent, TPT decreased by -0.18 points.
