Bali Tourism Development January 2019

The arrival of foreign tourists (tourists) to the Province of Bali at the beginning of 2019 was recorded to reach 456,218 visits, with foreign tourists coming through the airport as many as 452,405 visits, and those through the sea port amounting to 3,813 visits.

 

The number of foreign tourists to the Province of Bali in January 2019 fell as deep as -8.54 percent compared to the records in December 2018 (m to m). When compared with January 2018 (y on y), the number of foreign tourists to Bali increased by 27.41 percent.

 

According to nationality, foreign tourists who recorded the most came to Bali in January 2019, namely tourists with Chinese nationality (24.94 percent), Australia (20.94 percent),India (6.30 percent), United States (3.85 percent) and Russia (3.59 percent).

 

The star hotel occupancy rate (TPK) in January 2019 was recorded at 53.27 percent, down -4.35 points compared to the previous month's TPK (m to m) which reached 57.62 percent. When compared to January 2018 (y on y) which reached 52.97 percent, the room occupancy rate in January 2019 was recorded to increase by 0.30 points.
