Abstract

Village Potential Data Collection (Podes) is carried out three (3) times in ten (10) years, namely in the year ending in 1 (one) to support the agricultural census, the year ending in 4 (four) to support the economic census, and the year ending 8 (eight) for support the population census. The last Podes data collection was carried out in May 2018 for all administrative areas at the village / kelurahan, sub-district and regency / city level.

Podes's data collection in Bali Province 2018 records 716 village-level administrative areas consisting of 636 villages and 80 sub-districts, 57 sub-district-level administrative areas, and 9 regency / city level administrative regions.

From the 2018 Podes data, the Village Development Index (IPD) is calculated which shows the level of development of villages with categories of lagging, developing, or independent. The higher the IPD, the more independent the village is. Based on the results of the IPD calculation, there were 176 independent categories (27.67 percent), 460 categories developed (72.33 percent), and no more villages were left behind in the Bali Province.

The average IPD of Bali Province for Transportation Dimensions is 82.48; The Dimension of Organizing Village Government 77.44; Basic Service Dimensions 70.16; Dimensions of Infrastructure Conditions 64.32; and Public Service Dimensions 60.80.
