Abstract

The number of international airplane departures from Ngurah Rai Airport in August 2017 reached 3,084 flight units. This number has increased by 2.59 percent compared to the previous month which reached 3,006 units. The number of international flight passengers in the same period increased by 9.46 percent from 566,816 in July 2017 to 620,411 people in August 2017. In line with the departure of aircraft, the number of baggage and international air transport goods increased by 8.00 percent , from 9.92 million tons to 10.7 million tons.

For domestic air transport, the number of aircraft departing from Ngurah Rai Airport in August 2017 was 3,647 flight units, down 0.33 percent compared to the previous month's condition of 3,659 flight units. The number of passengers decreased by 506,108 people, or down 7.54 percent compared to the previous month which reached 547,351 people. The number of baggage and goods also decreased by 7.98 percent from 6.44 million tons in July 2017 to 5.93 million tons in August 2017.

For sea transport, the number of passengers departing through several ports in Bali Province in August 2017 of 279,438 people. This figure rose 12.64 percent compared to the previous month which reached 246,080 people. Meanwhile, different conditions were shown for the transportation of goods in the same period and mode of transportation, reaching 15,108 tons, or down by 3.06 percent compared to the previous month which reached 15,584 tons.
