The arrival of foreign tourists to Bali in August 2017 recorded reached 601,884 visits, with foreign tourists coming through the airport as many as 599,827 visits, and through the port of 2,057 visits.
The number of foreign tourists to Bali in August 2017 increased by 37.37 percent compared with the record of August 2016. When compared with the previous month, the number of foreign tourists to Bali also recorded an increase of 1.66 percent.
According to the nationality, the highest number of foreign tourists arriving in Bali in August 2017 were foreigners in China, Australia, Japan, France and Britain with a percentage of 26.05 percent, 16.67 percent, 6.11 percent, 4.93 percent, and 4.71 percent.
Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) starred hotel in August 2017 reached 74.86 percent, up 2.54 points compared to the previous month's TPK. The average length of stay of guests at star-rated hotels in Bali in August 2017 was recorded at 3.25 days, up 0.06 days compared to the average length of stay of guests in July 2017.
TPK in non-star hotels in August 2017, recorded at 38.39 percent, an increase of 1.70 points from the previous month's record. Conversely the average length of stay of 2.34 days, recorded a decrease of 0.56 days from the previous month which reached 2.90 days.
