Abstract

Farmers Exchange Rate (NTP) of Bali in January 2016 recorded a decline of 0.16 percent, from 105.13 in December 2015, became 104.96. In terms of indices received by farmers (It), recorded an increase of 0.65 percent, from 125.48 in the previous month to 126.30.
In terms of indices that paid farmers (Ib), recorded an increase of 0.81 percent, from 119.36 into 120.33.
In January 2016, of the five sub-sectors, recorded only one that increased NTP, which Horticultural subsector of 1.33 per cent. While the other sub-sectors experienced a decline, namely food crops subsector, smallholder, Livestock and Fisheries respectively 0.68 percent, 0.75 percent, 0.48 percent and 0.25 percent.
National NTP in January 2016 reached 102.55, decreasing by 0.27 percent against the previous month. This decrease is generally driven by the index of prices received by farmers (It) which rose by 0.35 percent, lower than the increase in prices paid by farmers (Ib) by 0.63 percent.
