Focus Group Discussion on the Integration of the National Social and Economic Single Data (DTSEN)

The National Social and Economic Single Data (DTSEN) is a national policy initiative aimed at establishing a single, accurate, up-to-date, and integrated source of socioeconomic data to serve as a foundation for development planning and evaluation.

“Data integration is crucial, as the initial stages of transformation often bring about various dynamics in the field. We are pleased to report that the process has been progressing well, though there is still room for improvement, particularly in terms of business processes,” said Ida Bagus Rai Dharmawijaya Mantra during the FGD session.

While challenges remain, such as potential inclusion and exclusion errors, the continuous updating of DTSEN is essential to ensure greater data accuracy. All stakeholders agreed that timely updates and accelerated field verification are key to ensuring that DTSEN can be optimally utilized for delivering well-targeted social assistance programs, ultimately contributing to the improvement of community welfare.
