Denpasar (11/06) – In an effort to strengthen the foundation of an inclusive and adaptive national statistical ecosystem, the Deputy for Distribution and Service Statistics of BPS, Pudji Ismartini, held a strategic dialogue with BPS staff throughout Bali Province. This activity is an important forum in aligning the direction of national statistical policy with conditions and challenges in the field.
This forum discussed various crucial issues, ranging from new regulations in the Statistics Bill, strengthening the code of ethics for special statistics, to the issue of cross-institutional data acquisition. Not only that, strengthening the preparation of the 2026 Economic Census and the ongoing Survey is also a major highlight. Rapid response, adaptive solutions, and cross-sector coordination continue to be strengthened to face the dense statistical activities in 2025 and towards the 2026 Economic Census.
In the midst of digital transformation and the complexity of data needs, collaboration is key. Data is not just a number, but the foundation of development. Data must be maintained in its integrity and build an ecosystem that is interconnected and mutually supportive.
