Audience of Head of BPS Bali Province with Bali Police Chief

Denpasar (6/5) – In an effort to establish collaboration with stakeholders, the Head of the Bali Province BPS, Agus Gede Hendrayana Hermawan, held an audience with the Bali Police Chief. Agus Gede said that in carrying out various statistical activities, BPS requires support from various parties. This is important because the quality of the statistical data produced will not be optimal if the public's statistical literacy is still limited.

The Bali Police Chief welcomed the initiative. He emphasized that statistical data has an important role in supporting various government policies. The Police Chief further said that the Bali Police are greatly assisted by the statistical data produced by BPS, especially regarding statistics on foreigners, which is currently one of the main focuses of the Bali Police.

On that occasion, the Head of the Bali Province BPS also said that BPS will hold a major agenda next year, namely the 2026 Economic Census (SE). He emphasized that the success of this activity requires the involvement and support of various parties. Therefore, BPS invites all stakeholders to build collaboration and actively participate in making the 2026 Economic Census a success.
